Sarah Churchill, the second daughter, was born in 1914. She was an actress and writer. In 1940, she married Vic Oliver, a film director. The couple had one son, Richard. During the Second World War, Sarah worked as a war correspondent for the Daily Mail. She wrote several books, including a biography of her father, Winston Churchill. Sarah died in 1982 at the age of 68.

Mary Churchill

Mary Churchill, the youngest daughter, was born in 1922. She was a socialite and philanthropist. In 1948, she married Christopher Soames, a Conservative politician. The couple had five children, Nicholas, Emma, Jeremy, Charlotte, and Rupert. Mary was a close friend of Princess Margaret, and she was also a patron of the arts. She died in 2014 at the age of 91.
